Identifying Your Eczema Triggers
A practical, week-by-week diary method to spot the foods, fabrics, and weather conditions that set off your eczema.

Eczema can feel chaotic, but most flares can be traced back to a handful of triggers. The fastest way to find yours? Keep a simple two-column journal for 14 days.
Column 1: What touched your skin
Soap, detergent, perfume, new fabrics, jewelry. Even tap water hardness counts.
Column 2: What you put in your body
Stress, sleep, diet, hormones, weather. Note flare intensity on a 1–5 scale at the end of each day.
Within two weeks, patterns appear. From there, eliminate one variable at a time — never multiple. Your dermatologist can use the diary to fast-track patch testing if needed.
